I chose this picture because I like how they took old run down houses and made them have a different look. I also like how it caught my eye with all of the bright colors they chose and how they combined two forms of art into one piece.

Cherry Pic

Cherry Pic

I chose this photo because I really liked how it was simple, yet interesting. The pop of red in the cherries catches one's eye and adds emphasis on the cherries. I also like how the lighting was done in this photo. I think that the shadows add depth. Lastly, I thought that they distortion was very cool. It made regular cherries into something unique and wacky.

I chose this photo because of the laid back vibes that the girl in the photo gave me. This candid shot of her eating Goldfish and wearing a sweatshirt made me feel as if I could relate to this girl a lot because of her care-free attitude. When looking closely at the photo, I noticed the girl's light blue eyes that "pop" against the darker blue background. I think that the photographer did a very nice job when capturing facial expressions and body posture.

The reason I chose this picture is because I like how the lights make the whole picture pop. I like the contrast between the light and dark and I like how the whole scene has an old look to it. I also like how all the windows are barred up.

I chose this photo because the subject has a sad, distant expression that makes you wonder what she’s thinking about. I also like how simple the photo is except for the makeup she has on, which stands out and adds contrast against the otherwise simple photo.

Why this photo caught my eye.

This photo caught my eye because it is a photo of one of my friends and the contrast of the light brings out her beautiful outer features. I really like how they added the sunflower to bring out a pop of color. Her eyes are very vibrant and work well with the picture.
The reason this photograph caught my eye and why I therefore chose it was due to the contrast of colors. Also, I love how she looks carefree but at the sometime looks deep in thought about something specific on her mind.

I selected this monochromatic photograph because I love aesthetics and this image, to me, is a very aesthetically pleasing photo.

The reason that I picked this picture was because I liked that the setting was in contrast with the person wearing an elephant mask. The woman is sitting in a comfortable position on the sand which looks completely normal until you see the mask on her face, an elephant.
