Portrait Improvements

Maddie

       Maddie's composition of pictures were well shot and interesting. To improve, I think she should more clearly focus on a theme. It could be the way we express ourselves, through clothing or facial expressions. For example, the picture of Sierra with the paint on her body could express joy, excitement, or confusion. Also, the picture of Lizzy could represent anger, timidness, or apathy. Maddie's use of the gels really added to her pictures, and they may also help her focus on the emotion in the picture. Finally, the out of studio pictures were really well shot, but it might add to the picture if the focus on the picture of Joelle on the house was more in focus on Joelle and not the house.       Overall, honing in on a theme would really bring Maddie's composition together.
